New York State
Extended Certificates for Foreign Use and Certificates of Non-Impediment require a two-step completion process after they have been obtained from the office of the clerk. Step one requires a visit to the County Clerk’s Office in the same county as where you obtained the certificate (refer to locations below). The County Clerk will authenticate the signature of the Town Clerk for a fee of $3.
